Junk removal in Fountain, on a report date
Fountain sits on the south side of Fort Carson, about ten miles down from the city, and more of our summer is spent here than anywhere else. Orders come, the movers take the household goods, and what is left in the garage has to be gone before the house is signed back.
Fountain is a military town in the plainest sense. Fort Carson's 26,315 active-duty soldiers and their 40,000 family members live in and around it, and a good share of them rotate out every summer on a date someone else chose. The move-out is where we come in: the movers will not take the grill, the propane-less fire pit, the trampoline, the half-used paint, the kids' broken bikes, the sagging couch that was not worth the weight allowance, or the garage. We will, on a day before the report date, with a dated receipt for housing or the landlord.
The rest of the year Fountain is rentals turning over, the occasional estate in the older part of town, and the newer subdivisions along the east side where the HOAs write letters about what is sitting in the driveway. A lot of it is same-day work, because Fountain is close and flat and the carries are short.
Booking against a date
Tell us the report date, the housing walkthrough date or the lease end. We book the truck for a day or two before it, not the day itself, so a delayed mover or a second load does not put you on the wrong side of the deadline. The crew arrives, looks at what is left, names the price and loads it. Mattresses and the fridge, if they are going, carry the surcharges we explain on the mattress and appliance pages.
The calls we get from Fountain
PCS move-outs
The garage, the storage unit and the things the movers declined, cleared before the report date with a dated receipt.
Rental turnovers
A mattress or two, a couch, bags and the garage between tenants, usually a half truck and a morning.
HOA letters
The newer east-side subdivisions have rules on driveways and side yards. We meet the compliance date and give you proof.

Questions from Fountain
Can you come on post?
Fort Carson has its own access rules and we take no position on them. Off-post housing, privatised housing you can get us to, and the storage units around town are the usual jobs. Ask and we'll say plainly what we can do.
Do you give a receipt housing will accept?
A dated, itemised receipt with the address on it, by text or email. What any particular office accepts is theirs to decide, but that is what they usually ask for.
How far ahead should we book in summer?
A week is comfortable. June through August is busy here and the week before the end of the month is the busiest.
What about the stuff the movers won't take?
That is exactly the load: grills, propane-less fire pits, paint (which we can't take either, and we tell you where it goes), bikes, trampolines, the old couch, the garage.
Is Fountain extra travel?
No. It's on the daily route.
